Useful links

Many of the sites featured on this page will simply be gateways into further sites. Remember that anyone is capable of making their information available; there is no guarantee that the information is accurate. Before relying on any information consider the following questions:

  • When was the site last updated? Is it maintained properly or abandoned?

  • Who is responsible for the site and where are they from? What is their bias?

  • Why have they published the site? Vanity? Marketing? Public service?

  • Could I get better quality information elsewhere? ie a book, journal, CD-ROM or elsewhere on the web.

Finally remember that there are many places to find information other than the sites listed here. There are lots of other web sites and don't forget about books and journals!
